Steady Rest with collapsible top - Type 1

Suitable for workpieces ranging from Ø 4 to 450 mm and loads up to 5 tons. The smallest steady rest is suitable for diameters ranging from Ø 4 to 100 mm. For workpiece with more than Ø 300 mm we can fit the steady rest with a gas spring for easy opening and closing operation.

Optionally, we equip this steady rest with the patent protected electronic centering display. Once calibrated, the steady rest knows the center of your machine and the quills can be preset to the workpiece diameter.

The base geometry, the centre height and the clamping range are freely configurable for all steady rest types for all machine manufacturers by:
- conventional flatbed machines with V-profile
- CNC slant bed machines
- Machines with linear guide rails
- Machines with T-slot tables
