The grinding and turning hearts of Richter® Steady Rests are made of steel in Germany. They are used as drivers for workpieces that are machined on grinding or turning rails between centers and must be rotated for this purpose. The entire diameter range is clamped securely with just one DIN 915 clamping screw. The innovative circumferential safety ring: - is rotationally symmetrical, smooth and circumferential - protects the operator from protruding clamping screws and driver mandrel. - offers the possibility of safe attachment of drivers. Thus, the grinding and turning hearts of Richter® steady rests comply with the current instructions of DGUV Information 209-066 Section 2.5.
