The yellow protective shield is advanced before starting the working process. It protects the operator from unintentional intervention in the rotating clamping jaws. An optional locking mechanism makes machine operation impossible without an advanced protective shield. The manual oil pump makes the moving of the ring steady-rest on the machine bed much easier.
